Crucial SSDs are a popular upgrade — and like all SSDs, they can fail suddenly and silently when a controller gives out. We recover Crucial SATA and NVMe SSDs and X-series portable drives, including ones that vanished from the BIOS.

Crucial recovery — common questions
How much does Crucial data recovery cost?+
One flat $1,200 for the Crucial devices we handle — quoted before you ship, with no per-gigabyte fees and no diagnostic charge. You pay $0 if we can't recover your data.
Can you recover an encrypted or password-protected Crucial drive?+
Often yes, but you'll need the password or encryption key. Many Crucial drives use hardware encryption, so a physical recovery only yields readable data when the correct credentials are supplied — have them ready.
My Crucial drive isn't recognized — is the data still there?+
Usually. A drive that isn't detected most often has a controller, firmware, or mechanical fault while the data itself sits intact. Stop using it, don't reformat, and let our cleanroom recover it.
Do I have to visit a location?+
No. We're a mail-in service: confirm online, we email a free prepaid label, you ship your Crucial device, and we return it with your recovered data. You only pay on success.
